The St. Stephen Church Christian Addiction Ministry Program, C.A.M.P. is having a Christmas Party! It is open to the recovery community, family and friends. The Healing Place, Dismas House, Hotel California, House of Hope, Rhonda's Another Chance, Kim Moore Transitional Home, and a number of recovery/trasitional agencies in the Louisville area will be participating.

The St. Stephen C.A.M.P. Ministry exists to reach church and unchurched people with addictive habits, to connect them with Christian people, encourage them to grow in their faith, participate in their ministry and honor God with their lives. C.A.M.P. exists for those who have drug and alcohol addictions, problems with gossiping, gambling, nicotine, relationship disorders, sexual addictions, caffeine, eating disorders and problems. C.A.M.P. meets weekly, on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the B.J. Miller Educational Building at St. Stephen Church, 1018 South 15th Street, Louisville, Kentucky. ReplyDeleteThis was an awesome event. Hats off to Virgil Todd and his CAMP team. I thank them for inviting me to serve at emcee. Residents with a good number of transitional homes came to the party, approximately 300 people in all enjoyed a great meal, live music from one of St. Stephen's praise teams, and inspiring testimonies from Kim Moore, Charlie Johnson, and members of CAMP. Pastor Kevin Cosby preached an awesome Word from God. To top it off, six people united with St. Stephen Church.
ReplyDeleteJesus Saves Ministries gave away ten blessings baskets filled with necessities for daily living, most with t-shirts, some with gloves and clothing items. The baskets included Christian material to share the love of Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation.
