Jesus Saves Ministries Live brings together people of God and the Word of God for informative highlights of the International Sunday School lessons.  I am Angela Lee Price, Founder of Jesus Saves Ministries, Louisville celebrating 15 years of lifting up Jesus Christ.  My guest today is Sis. Vanessa Holland, First Lady of Breaking The Chains Baptist Church, Louisville, KY.  Breaking the Chains Church where founder, Rev. Charles Holland has been ministering in the Louisville area for 21 years.
In these uncertain times of Covid-19, and as communities re-open, we all have important choices to make, choices of life and death.  This lesson encourages us to practice justice and choose life.  The lesson examines two of the three responses the prophet Jeremiah gave to King Zedekiah, the last king of Judah, before their captivity.  Jeremiah replied to the King, the people, and royal house of David.  We learn that God is the God of justice, and injustice will not go unpunished.  We ought to stand up for the vulnerable and oppressed and choose life.  To choose life ultimately, is to choose Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
