Derby Eve students will participate in a college fair that will help direct and encourage pursuit of their educational careers and personal goals. They will be inspired by motivational speakers, as they relate sports to life, education, and the importance of character/integrity. The youth will meet Kentucky Black Sports Hall of Fam Inductees, as well as former players from the Universities of Louiville, Kentucky and various state colleges.

Each year the Kentucky Black Sports Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding individuals who have made significantg contributions to the world of Kentucky sports, while simultaneously inspiring and assisting economically disadvantaged and at risk students. The foundation is dedicated to perserving black history and promoting cultural awareness throughtout Kentucky and other parts of the nation.
