Rev. Aletha Fields, Cathedral of the Assumption, at Those Preachin' Women Conference last Thursday in Louisville. Rev. Fields' message was entitled, "Keep It 100 and Go Hard," a title she borrowed from the vernacular of the youth she teaches in the Jefferson County Public School System. She and Rev. Dianne Brown, St. Stephen Church preached on Luke 7: 36-ff, the women with the alabaster box. The conference was held July 14-17 with guest preachers speaking all four nights. Coke Memorial United Methodist Church hosted the event that included workshops and a scholarship banquet.
