Jesus Saves Ministries' hosted our third "Garments of Praise" Consignment Sale & Clothing Give-Away Saturday, July-9th -16th. Brand name and great quality new and gently used men's, women's, infant and toddlers clothing, shoes, and household items were sold at bargain-basement prices and given away.
Most items were sold for $1.00 to $5.00, and included brand names such as Vera Wang, Bellini, Keds, Steve Madden, Loft, Cato, Gloria Vanderbilt among others.
Due to the abundance of infant and toddler clothing received, Jesus Saves Ministries made donations to Family Scholar House and Bridge the Gap House for single women and displaced families with children.
Our goal with The Garments of Praise Consignment Sale is to substitute "garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness," and lift the hearts of the people in our community by providing quality items to people in need. It is about not just giving, but about targeting quality donations to known areas of great need. Shoppers left with shopping bags filled with great bargains! This initiative is part of our "Least of These" missions project to clothe and feed the less fortunate (Matthew 25:35-40), and served as fundraiser for the ministry. The Life Conference Suite, 2001 West Broadway, Suite 10, located directly across the hall from the WLOU/104.7/WLLV studios.
