In celebration of Women's Month, I present to you in this post some of the women in my family on my father's side. These women are not only on my father's side literally, but they are on the side of my Heavenly Father who is King of kings and Lord of lords and worthy to be praise!
My recent trip to New York and New Jersey at the passing of my father, Clarence Lee was a bittersweet experience. My father and I had been estranged since I was very young. The last time I actually saw him I was 17 years old. I found him using the internet in 2003 at the urging of the Holy Spirit, however, the encounter did not work out as I had hoped. So, we thank you for prayers, cards, and e-mails. The good news is that God allowed healing to begin to occur within my family anyway by His bringing me and my brother, Rev. Michael Lee face to face for the first time with relatives we longed to meet and know. As it turned out, they longed to meet us and my father's children in Louisville. Some of my new relatives are now on the Jesus Saves Ministries e-distribution and we e-mail regularly. To God be the glory!

This picture was taken in Louisville a few Christmases ago when my sister Jackie who was in town from Maryland and I stopped by to visit my sister Crystal Adams and her family. From left to right: Crystal Adams, Jackie Lee-Holmes, and me.
My sister, Jackie and my niece, Porsha reside in Laurel, Maryland. Jackie works at John Hopkins Laurel Health Center and is just about to complete her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. Jackie was a guest on a previous radio talk show when I was a midday announcer at 1570 WLBJ, the Blues Station in Louisville. My niece Porsha is a first-year student at Bowie State University. She is undecided on a major.
I met my first cousin, Angela Corley, aunt's Carolyn other daughter, on my trip to New York. Angela has Associate's and Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice, and will be pursuing M.S. and Ed.S degrees in the fall. Aunt Carolyn Mckinney(right photo) and her family reside in New Jersey. Aunt Carolyn is an evangelist. When I first heard her voice just weeks before my father passed, she was about to preach at her church the next day. I prayed with her over the phone God's strength in that tremendous trial.
Finally, this is my sister SheNequia and her children. They live in Brooklyn, New York. Michael took this picture while we were at aunt Carolyn's home after the funeral. This is the only picture I have of her at this time. SheNequia and I didn't get to talk very much as she took by father's passing very hard. She told me she works as a Customer Service Representative scheduling rides for seniors going to doctor's appointments. I prayed with her and welcomed the opportunity for continued communication.
Our God is the God of reconciliation. He can make a way out of no way. What He is doing in my life, He can do in your life, too! Trust and depend on Him. There is nothing too hard for God!
Remember, it is not Mohammad, Buddha, Confucius, nor New Age that saves. Jesus saves!
