More pics from the WLOU Summerfest Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, June 20th. We thank God for the awesome kickoff to Summerfest with great prayer, praise, speakers, food and fellowship! Thank you to emcee Betty Baye, prayer from Co-Pastor Joy Elliott Bishop Dennis Lyons' daughter, Felecia Fortney; Tommie Jones & Friends led us in praise and worship, great speakers including Barbara Sexton Smith, Steve Tarver, Ira Salls, Mayor Greg Fischer, Heather French Henry, Jacqueline Coleman, Charles Booker, Tami Charles, and keynote speaker, woman of God Rev. Dianne Brown who left us with the Word, The Mission Is Possible from Matthew 6. Caterer Donald's Catering prepared a tasty menu that included chicken and waffles, our sponsors, vendors and an awesome team of volunteers all contributed in major ways to make the event special for our guests. WLOU Summerfest Prayer Breakfast 2019
WLOU Radio hosted Summerfest Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, June 20th. We thank God for the awesome kickoff to Summerfest with great prayer, praise, speakers, food and fellowship! Thank you to Mistress of Ceremonies Betty Baye, prayer leaders Co-Pastor Joy Elliott and Felecia Fortney; Tommie Jones &; Friends led us in praise and worship. Our program of great speakers including Fourth District Councilwoman Barbara Sexton Smith, YMCA President Steve Tarver, McDonald's Franchise Owner Ira Salls, Metro Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, Democratic Candidate for Secretary of State Heather French Henry, Democratic Candidate for Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman, State Representative Charles Booker, Bullying Prevention Advocate Tami Charles. Keynote speaker, Rev. Dianne Brown left us with the powerful Word, The Mission Is Possible from Matthew 6. She stated that the mission is possible when you look to God, look in God's word, look through prayer, don't worry, and wait on God.
