Also joining us will be Archia Kinnard, Asst. Supervisor, Expungement and Information Processing, Hall of Justice to share information on the District Courts expungement process. She has handled expungements for 14 of her 18 years at the Hall of Justice. The majority of her cases involve either misdemeanor or violation convictions petitions or acquittal or dismissal with prejudice petitions. West Louisville Boys and Girls Choirs Sing In Hope for Christmas
The West Louisville Boys and Girls Choir under the direction of founder McDaniel Bluitt, and Mamie Bluitt, Director, West Louisville Girls Choir, presented their 13th Annual Sounds of Hope Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 2nd at the Brown Theatre. Saxophonist Ron Jones was their 2012 Hope Award Honoree. WLOU/WLLV/Praise 104.7 FM's General Manager Bill Price served as Master of Ceremonies.
The boys and girls choirs sang in hope for Christmas performing a number of gospel and Christmas songs including "This Little Light of Mine," "Ain't That Good News," "Behold the Star," "Noel, Noel," "We Are Christmas," "Bethlehem Boy," "Carol of the Bells," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," and "I'll Be Home for Christmas." They also performed a classic Nat King Cole song, "Straigthen Up and Fly Right," and Irving Berlin's "Puttin On The Ritz." (more)
Join Us for the Purple Christmas Tree Prayer Breakfast
Jesus Saves Ministries will be joining DIVAS for Christ, Inc. next Saturday, December 15th for their second annual Purple Christmas Tree Prayer Breakfast at Hotel Louisville. We are preparing our baskets and checking them twice to be sure they are filled with the love of Christ! Ladies, please join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and in honoring the homeless women at Wayside Christian Mission.
Last Saturday morning, my guests on Jesus Saves Live were three powerful women of God, Rev. Dr. Kathy Goodwin (Left) and Rev. Dr. Altonnette Hawkins,(second from right), Min. Cassandra Gray (right). Dr. Hawkins is President and Founder of DIVAS for Christ, Inc. Dr. Kathy, Pastor, Coke Memorial United Methodist Church, just received her doctorate degree this year. Rev. Cassandra Gray, Co-pastor, New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Shelbyville, has one more week to go to complete her Masters degree in Counseling, and Dr. Hawkins has completed all course requirements for her doctorate! We praise God from whom all blessings flow!
